If you leave your computer idle long enough for the screen saver to begin and then use fingerprint (Touch ID) to wake the computer before it is locked, the computer is unlocked/opened but the MFA screen still appears. To close the MFA screen, you must click Back to Login.

This issue happens if you have installed the AuthPoint agent for macOS v2.0.1.102, your computer runs macOS 14.0 or higher, and your computer settings have the screensaver start before the computer is locked.

We recommend that you configure your computer settings so that the screensaver and the lock screen both have the same time.
